About Us

PFM is based around a group of enthusiastic and dynamic Christians from all over Britain who want to share the truth about Jesus Christ to the holiday makers and surfers on the beach. We also aim to encourage and teach the bible to the young people who come along.

2007 was the 52nd year that Christians have come together in Polzeath to share their love of Jesus. The mission is designed for children, teenagers and all the family offering a variety of activities throughout the day to appeal to everyone. All activities are FREE and run by lively volunteers in accordance with the Children’s Act. Polzeath Family Mission is one of many missions associated with Scripture Union.

The Focus of Polzeath Family Mission:

1. To challenge the non-Christian world view and humbly present the Christian hope, through the use of culturally credible and appropriate media at the Roadshow, presenting the unchanging Gospel.
2. To present to the children the gospel of Jesus Christ. Encouraging them to have their own personal faith and helping them on into closer relationship with God, through a greater understanding of His word in the Bible, and a greater love in their hearts for Jesus.
3. To befriend the families on holiday in Polzeath through the work at the Valley Caravan Park and the high profile events, in order that they might hear the gospel and understand it.
4. To grow individually and corporately as a team, in our own Christian faith, deepening our understanding of, and love for God, and relationship with Him.
